The Northern Pikes

Formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, The Northern Pikes became one of Canada’s most beloved rock bands with their signature blend of melodic hooks, thoughtful lyrics, and infectious energy. Rising to prominence in the late 1980s with hits such as “She Ain’t Pretty”, “Teenland”, “Girl with a Problem”, and “Things I Do for Money”, the band quickly earned a loyal following across North America. Their music captures the spirit of Canadian rock while delivering timeless songs that continue to resonate with audiences today. Decades into their career, The Northern Pikes remain a dynamic live act, celebrated for their enduring catalogue and powerful performances.

ODDS

ODDS emerged from Vancouver in the early 1990s and quickly established themselves as one of Canada’s most distinctive alternative rock bands. Fronted by acclaimed songwriter Craig Northey, the group built a reputation for crafting intelligent, catchy songs featuring memorable melodies and sharp lyrical storytelling. Their catalogue includes fan favourites such as “Heterosexual Man”, “Truth Untold”, “Someone Who’s Cool”, and “Eat My Brain”. Renowned for their musicianship, wit, and engaging live performances, ODDS continue to be celebrated as a cornerstone of Canadian alternative rock, delivering a soundtrack that has remained relevant and beloved for generations.

The Pursuit of Happiness

Led by singer-songwriter Moe Berg, The Pursuit of Happiness burst onto the Canadian music scene in the late 1980s with a bold sound that mixed power-pop melodies, sharp guitar-driven rock, and witty, insightful lyrics. The band achieved widespread success with memorable hits including “I’m an Adult Now”, “Hard to Laugh”, “She’s So Young”, and “Cigarette Dangles”. Known for their clever songwriting and energetic performances, The Pursuit of Happiness earned a lasting place in Canadian rock history. Their music continues to connect with fans through its honesty, humour, and unmistakable melodic appeal.
